Rízes Clinic offers two options for new patients: Acupuncture or Acupuncture with Functional Medicine
Acupuncture alone is ideal for “straightforward” health concerns such as an acute pain issue, labor preparation, uncomplicated pregnancy, or IVF support (without a functional medicine-type treatment plan). Herbal medicine and bodywork modalities like cupping, tuina, and moxibustion are often included with these treatments.
Acupuncture with Functional Medicine is ideal for complex health concerns such as infertility, autoimmunity, endometriosis, PCOS, and any chronic issue. These initial appointments are longer to allow time for a full health history, review of previous labs, and discussion of goals. These patients will also receive a thorough treatment plan. Follow-up sessions include herbal medicine and appropriate bodywork modalities.

In-Person
Acupuncture and functional medicine specializing in autoimmune conditions and reproductive health (fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and hormonal health). Sessions include acupuncture and, when appropriate, other techniques such as cupping, gua sha, and moxibustion when appropriate. Rízes Clinic has an extensive herbal pharmacy and custom botanical formulas are sometimes offered.
Virtual Consultations
Virtual consultations are available to existing patients. They are useful for patients that are out of the area, have a contagious condition, have new labs that need reviewing, or are in need of a treatment plan update. Please reach out by email or call to book a virtual consultation.
Fertility Consultation for Couples
Consultations for couples who would like to optimize their chances for baby making success; or those who are struggling to conceive and/or experiencing pregnancy loss.
